Not a lot to report
I went back to my doctor the other day to discuss, perhaps, getting back on anti-depressants. He seems to be of the opinion that I'm not actually depressed but am suffering from bi-polar disorder. Woo hoo, that's something that'll cheer you up real quick. Anyway, next week I have an appointment with a psychiatrist of some sort to see if she can help. Not something I'm really looking forward to. At $250/hour hopefully she'll do something that makes a difference ... thank goodness for insurance!!

In order to have the privilege of visiting this lady, (she's not a doctor, she's an "ARNP" which means that she's a registered nurse practitioner and can do most of the things that a doctor can) I have to fill out a bunch of forms before I get there. Sadly, the first page has me kinda stumped .... Here's what it looks like:
List the problems of greatest concern to you(about 2 inches of white space)
Describe the problems in your own words(another 2 inches of white space)
I'm at something of a loss as to what to put here. Most of my problems are vague, hazy unformed, nebulous things that I'm having difficulty putting my finger on ... certainly part of the problem. *sigh*

Art, that's the point isn't it?
As you can see, looking at my gallery, I really haven't done much of anything new lately. I've been thinking of starting another dA account and splitting my creations between them. Honestly I'd like to be able to separate my superhero-type art from my more adult themed work without losing either. I'll have to think about it some. If you have any thoughts on the matter, please feel free to let me know.
The new WTF
I'm at something of a loss about this. I guess I just don't "get it". Of all the things in my gallery this one:
Has a (comparative) ton of favs while others that took a LOT more work, effort and planning have fallen by the fav wayside. I just don't really know what to think about it.
Torso, the one above, took me perhaps all of an hour to create. Maybe an hour and 15 minutes including the time to render it. This one:
was more on the order of days. Setting up the kitchen, creating the separate costumes for the characters, test renders and what not. I'm actually pretty proud of how it worked out and yet ... 0 Favorites (I'm not asking for anyone to fav it out of pity, so please don't).
I just really don't understand though.
As an experiment, I created this:
Which took all of about 15 minutes. I loaded up Torso and spun him around 180° and rendered. Bada boom ... 5 Favs at this point.
I guess I'm glad that my purpose in life isn't to appeal to the audience but to get things out of my head and onto the virtual canvas.
I'd certainly like to read thoughts on this as it's just mystifying to me.

Following in the footsteps of
gizmo2071 I'm going to feature my favorite piece of art from all the people watching me. I think it's a great idea so here goes:
